News | November 29, 2021 As a member of Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA), Mackenzie County is assisting RMA with a message to our Ratepayers concerning high-speed internet in rural Alberta. RMA have teamed up with the CIRA (Canadian Internet Registration Authority) to collect real-world internet speed data from rural Alberta. National Public Alerting System "Alert Ready"
News | November 16, 2021 Alberta Emergency Management Agency has shared the following information: National Public Alerting System Testing Federal, provincial, and territorial governments, in collaboration with industry partners, launched the National Public Alerting System (NPAS) in 2018, known as the “Alert Ready” system.
