The Tompkins Crossing Ice Bridge capacity has increased to a maximum of 35 tonnes, effective Monday, January 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. The Ice Bridge first opened on December 19, 2024 for light weight traffic at a maximum capacity of 5 tonnes for the 2024/2025 winter season. Please use caution when crossing the Ice Bridge and travel at the posted speed limit. Do not cross the Ice Bridge with a load that is over the capacity posted.
