Mackenzie County advises residents in La Crete and Fort Vermilion that residential garbage pickup is currently delayed due to a mechanical issue. Crews are working to complete repairs as quickly as possible. UPDATE: Residential garbage pickup for La Crete and Fort Vermilion will resume no later then FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2025.
