Notice of Public Hearing - Proposed Bylaw 1401-26

Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of Mackenzie County will hold a public hearing prior to the second reading of Bylaw No. 1401-26.

The proposed bylaw is to amend the land use zoning of the following property described as Part of Plan 072 5380, Block 03, Lot 01. The property is currently zoned Hamlet Heavy Industrial (H-HI) and is proposed to be zoned as Hamlet Highway Commercial (H-HC) in order to accommodate future subdivision and development of six (6) commercial lots.

The Public Hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 in the Mackenzie County Council Chambers in Fort Vermilion (4511-46 Avenue). The proposed bylaw may be viewed at any Mackenzie County office during regular office hours.
