One Special Adventure Pack

One very special 2026 Adventure Pack includes a Minister’s Special Licence for a Hay-Zama wood bison hunt.

The Minister’s Special Licence is not separately available for purchase. It is included only in one 2026 Adventure Pack and is subject to all applicable restrictions, terms, conditions, Minister’s requirements, and Alberta hunting rules.

Business License invoices will be mailed out by the end of February. Please call Lynda Washkevich, Development Officer @ 780-928-3983 or email at

lwashkevich@mackenziecounty.com to notify if your business has closed or has changed during this past year. This will ensure that we do not send unnecessary invoices and keep our records up to date.


Any businesses, whether home based or commercial within the boundaries of the County are required to have a Mackenzie County Business License. The online application for a Business License or more information can be found here: Mackenzie County Business License
