The registered purchaser of the specially designated Adventure Pack must meet all applicable requirements before the licence can be issued or used.This includes:Being eligible to hold a hunting licence in Alberta.Holding a valid Wildlife Identification Number (WIN).Holding a valid Wildlife Certificate before hunting.Holding a valid Bow Hunting Permit when hunting with a bow.Following all applicable Alberta hunting laws, regulations, licence conditions, season requirements, land-access requirements, and safety requirements.Following all applicable weapon-use restrictions under provincial legislation, regulations, and municipal bylaws.Hunting only in authorized locations and during an open licensed bison-hunting season.If a non-resident or non-resident alien, hunting under the supervision of a resident hunter host or a licensed guide/outfitter. The licence holder may use any legal weapon as defined in the Wildlife Regulation.Non-transferability and resaleThe Minister’s Special Licence:Is non-transferable.Is not valid for resale.Cannot be substituted, exchanged, or transferred to another person. If the registered purchaser of the specially designated Adventure Pack does not meet the required eligibility conditions, does not provide required information by the stated deadline, or cannot lawfully receive or use the licence, the licence cannot be transferred, exchanged, or resold.
