Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of Mackenzie County will hold a public hearing prior to the second reading of Bylaws 1308-23 & 1309-23.

Bylaw 1308-23The proposed bylaw is to amend the land use designation of the following property:
Plan 052 2048, Block 2, Lot 3 from Hamlet Country Residential “H-CR’ to Recreation 1 “REC 1”
The purpose of the rezoning’s is to accommodate a Campground Minor.

Bylaw 1309-23 – The proposed bylaw is to amend the land use designation of the following property described as Part of NE-9-106-5-W5M. The property is currently zoned Hamlet Country Residential 1A “H-R1A” and is proposed to be rezoned to Hamlet Residential 2 “H-R2’, in order to accommodate Dwelling – Apartments.

The Public Hearings will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in the Mackenzie County Council Chambers in Fort Vermilion (4511-46 Avenue). The proposed bylaws may be viewed at any Mackenzie County office during regular office hours. Written submissions may be received prior to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023 to:
