Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of Mackenzie County will hold a public hearing prior to the second reading of Bylaw 1270-22, Bylaw 1275-23 and Bylaw 1276-23.

Bylaw 1270-22 – The proposed amendment is to amend the regulations of Tarp Shelters in Section 8.59 and to amend Section 2.3 Definition of Tarp Shelter of the Land Use Bylaw.

Bylaw 1275-23 – The proposed bylaw is to amend the land use zoning of the following property described as Plan 882 1512, Lot OT. The property is currently zoned as La Crete- Main Street “LC-MS” and is proposed to be zoned as La Crete-Heavy Industrial “LC-HI” in order to amalgamate with the adjacent lot.

Bylaw 1276-23 – The proposed bylaw is to amend the land use zoning of the following property described as Plan 852 0927, Lot OT. The property is currently zoned as La Crete-Main Street “LC-MS” and is proposed to be zoned as La Crete-Heavy Industrial “LC-HI” in order to amalgamate with the adjacent lot.

The Public Hearings will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in the Mackenzie County Council Chambers in Fort Vermilion (4511-46 Avenue). The proposed bylaws may be viewed at any Mackenzie County office during regular office hours. Written submissions may be received prior to 4:30 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2023 to:
