Mackenzie County will be offering dust control service on municipal roads to property owners for a maximum length of 200 linear meters. Due to program changes all Residential, Hamlet Residential, Rural and Hamlet Commercial/Industrial, and Schools will be required to pay for their dust control and submit an application as per Policy PW009: Dust Control.

Residents within the County may also apply to have dust control applied in front of their residence. The fees for dust control is outlined in the Fee Schedule Bylaw

The deadline for applications is April 1 annually, and will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis. Property owners considering placing their own dust control product (i.e. oil) must contact the County for guidelines, regulations and to obtain approval.
